The Top 10 By Ryno

Here's my list of ten movies you may or may not have heard of but should see at least once!

It's one movie from each catergory.

Action: Boondock Saints "Fraternal twins set out to rid Boston of the evil men operating there while being tracked down by an FBI agent."

Adventure: The Frighteners "A psychic private detective who consorts with deceased souls becomes engaged in a mystery as members of the town community begin dying mysteriously"

Anime: Ghost In the Shell "A female cyborg cop and her partner hunt a mysterious and powerful hacker called the Puppet Master." (This is a very "thinky" anime... a machine battles with thoughts of self awareness - FB)

Cartoon: The Tune "Del is a song writer for the obnoxious Mr. Mega, and in love with Didi, Mega's secretary. His quest to write a hit tune brings him to the wacky world of Flooby Nooby, where he just might learn to write songs from the heart." (This is Bill Plympton, you'll recognize the style as soon as you see the first frame - FB)

Comedy: Being John Malkovich "A puppeteer discovers a portal that leads literally into the head of the movie star, John Malkovich."

Drama: Pi "A paranoid mathematician searches for a key number that will unlock the universal patterns found in nature."

Foreign: City of Lost Children "A scientist in a surrealist society kidnaps children to steal their dreams, hoping that they slow his aging process." (Another "City Of" Foreign film you've gotta see is City of God! - FB)

Horror: Witchboard "A girl (Linda) finds an interest in her friends Brandon's Ouija Board when he brings it by her party."

Kung Fu: Deadly Shaolin Longfist "Worth watching only for the climax"

Western: Unforgiven "Retired Old West gunslinger William Munny reluctantly takes on one last job, with the help of his old partner and a young man." (Who hasn't heard of this one? - FB)
